Sundays With Tabs the Cat, Makeup and Beauty Blog Mascot, Vol. 294 - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hey kitty cats,
Ah, the trials and tribulations of existence a husky tabby! I've been searching high and depression for a window perch able to support my luxurious frame for what feels similar an eternity. Most of them claim to exist designed for cats of all sizes only plow out to exist of such dubious construction that I uncertainty they would back up kittens half my weight.
As luck would have it, my banana mentioned that she establish one claiming to back up felines upwardly to 35 pounds on a contempo trip to Petco.
Purr-fect, as I am currently pushing 20 pounds (I had to majority up for an upcoming action movie part with Channing Tatum), so I gave the daughter my American Express blackness menu and said, "mrow!" Bring one back, and arrive snappy!
She returned with the $29.95 Cat Napper, and we assembled it together today.
Actually, she assembled information technology while I supervised; these paws weren't made for manual labor.
The perch has a hammock fashion design with a polyester cover and a sturdy plastic frame. Two big Velcro stickers, ane which goes on the frame and the other on the window, secure the perch in place. Or, yous can use the included wood screws to make the install more permanent.
We opted for the Velcro, as I do not trust my assistant with power tools…
The process was surprisingly quick and easy. We had the whole thing built and installed in x minutes.
There were a couple tricky things, like figuring out that we had to attach the frame legs on the exterior of the encompass, instead of the within.
Cutting the pocket-sized holes in the material for the bolts to go through was as well a trivial challenging (we didn't want to make them too large and tear information technology).
The Velcro stickers are super viscous, so be sure you pick your window carefully, considering if you change your mind and want to motility the strips someplace else, you could damage the paint on the window sill.
I'm really enjoying the Cat Napper. It was piece of cake to install (with my assistant'south help), and the polyester embrace feels great against my fur.
I've already taken several long naps up at that place and even spotted a few turkeys.
One word of caution for my plus-size brethren: I highly uncertainty that a plus-size cat of 35 pounds could comfortably lounge in the Cat Napper. I place the max weight closer to 25.
Who is Tabs the Cat?
Near seven years agone I befriended a stray, flea-bitten tabby cat with a bad case of worms. I could run across he'd fallen on hard times, but his profound knowledge of high manner and department store cosmetics led me to believe that he was more than meets the eye. We became fast friends, and at present he's actually my boss (and a successful kitty model).
Kitty hugs and kisses, e'er,
Tabs
